These terms
These terms apply to every order you place with us as a consumer. Please read them before ordering. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies.
Our products
We sell brand new and refurbished vacuum cleaners, and parts and accessories. Each listing says whether an item is brand new or refurbished.
- Brand new parts: unused, factory-sealed genuine parts. They come with our 28-day returns.
- Brand new machines: built by our team from brand new genuine parts, so they come without the manufacturer's original box. Each one is covered by our 3-month Replace It warranty rather than the manufacturer's warranty.
- Refurbished machines: pre-owned machines that our team has cleaned, tested and repaired where needed. We repair them with genuine parts, and on some occasions use compatible parts to complete a machine. They may show light signs of previous use, and listings show photos of a typical example of the item.
- Refurbished parts: pre-owned genuine parts, cleaned and checked by our team. They may show light signs of previous use, and listings show photos of a typical example of the item.
Replace It is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Dyson, SharkNinja, Vax, Miele or Numatic. Brand names are used only to describe the products we sell.
Placing an order
When you place an order you'll receive an email acknowledging it. Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock, we'll tell you and won't charge you.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. UK Standard Delivery is free. If a price is shown incorrectly, we'll contact you before dispatching. Payment is taken when you place your order.
Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses. Delivery times are estimates; see our delivery page. The item is your responsibility once it's delivered to the address you gave us.
Your right to cancel
By law you can cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery. We give you longer: you can return any item within 28 days of delivery. See our returns policy for how.
Faulty items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. For refurbished items, satisfactory quality takes into account that they are pre-owned. If an item is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on when the fault appears. Our warranty (3 months on every machine, brand new or refurbished) is in addition to these rights, not instead of them. If a refurbished machine is faulty, you can also return it within 30 days of delivery. Your statutory rights still apply and are not limited by this.
Parts, whether brand new or refurbished, don't come with a Replace It warranty. They are covered by our 28-day returns and your statutory rights.
Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
